As per latest schedule Online Test for both Group ‘ X’ Trades (except Education Instructor Trade)} and Group ‘Y’ {except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF(P), IAF(S) and Musician Trades} has been declared online. Testing the eligibility of the applicants through Phase I eligible candidates are invited to attend the exam and for the same selection, the commission is sending the Provisional Admit Cards on candidate’s respective e-mail IDs before 15 days prior to the date of exam which is conducting during the month of March 2019.

Indian Air Force X & Y Group Exam Date 2019 – 14 March to 17 March 2019

After the submission of the online application Group, ‘X’ Trades candidates are going to participate in the exam which is going to be conducted online from 14th March to 17th March 2019 at different examination puts over the Nation. According to news duration of the Stage, I Online test is 60 minutes, comprised of Physics, Mathematics and English basis of 10+2 CBSE syllabus.

1 Nationality: The Applicants Should be Either Indian or a Nepalese Citizen.
2. Age Criteria :

  •  If you are civilian, you should be born between 19  January 1999 to 01 January 2003 ( Both Dates inclusive)

If you are a servicing NCs( ) of IAF, then DOB block are as mentioned below :

(a). Married NCs( E) – 08 January 1991 to 01 January 1998 ( both dates inclusive).

(b). Unmarried NCs(E) – 08 January 1991 to 01 January 2003 ( both dates inclusive).

3. Educational Qualification:

Eligibility for civilian candidates :

(a). For Group X trades ( except Edn Inst trade)

(i). Applicants  should have Passed class (10+2) /Intermediate/Equivalent Exam from an education board /Institute listed in council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, with Physics/Math/English as mandatory subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English as per the mark sheet of Class (10+2)/Intermediate /Equivalent Exam.

                                                                                 Or

(ii). Applicants should have completed 03 years diploma course in Engineering in any one of the prescribed streams from a government recognized Polytechnic  Institute with 50% marks in aggregate as per diploma final year mark sheet and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation mark sheet, of English is not a subject in diploma course.

 (b). For Group Y trades ( Except Auto tech/GTI/IAF(P)/IAF (S) & Musician trades) :

(i). Applicants should have passed class 10+2/Intermediate /Equivalent exam from an education    board/Institute listed in Council of Board for School Education (COBSE) website as members, in any stream/subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English as per the mark sheet of Class 10+2 /Intermediate /Equivalent Exam.

For Group Y Medical Assistant trade Only :

Applicants should have passed 10+2 /Intermediate/Equivalent exam with physics , chemistry, Biology and English Subjects, from an education board/Institute listed in Council of Board for School Education (COBSE) Website as members, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50 % marks in English as per the Mark Sheet of Class 10+2 /Intermediate/Equivalent exam.
