Indian Air Force Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Age, Height, Chest and Others: Central Airmen Selection Board is going to recruit the unmarried only male aspirants as Airmen in Group ‘X’ trades (except education instructor trade) and group ‘Y’ trades (except Ground Training Instructor, Automobile Technician, Security, Police, and Musician Trades). Indian Air Force Eligibility Criterial 2019 – Airmen X and Y Group 

Education Qualification: Group wise educational qualification and age limit is specified below.

GROUP ‘X’ Trades (Except Education Instructor) Age: Applicant’s age should be 17 to 21 Years only.

GROUP ‘X’ Trades (Except Education Instructor) Education Qualification:

Applicants should be passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent in Physics, Mathematics,  and English with minimum 50% marks in English and 50% marks in aggregate. Or Candidates ought to be passed 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream. The wannabes finished the course from Government partnered Polytechnic organization alongside 50% stamps in total just as 50% imprints in English in certificate or tenth/10+2, on the off chance that the English subject is not taken as a subject in Diploma Course.

GROUP ‘X’: Education Instructor Trade Age: Age should be 20 – 25 Years.

GROUP ‘X’: Education Instructor Trade Education Qualification

  • Applicants should pass BA with English as one the subjects or B.Sc with Psychology/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/IT/Statistics/ Computer Science as 1 of the subjects or BCA with at least 50% marks.
  • Ed with at least 50% marks from done from Government perceived organization recognized by UGC/ NCTE/ Competent accreditation authority.

Indian Air Force X and Y Group Pay & Allowance

During Training, a stipend of Rs. 14600/- Per Month Shall be Paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay in including Military Service Pay ( MSP), Group X Pay ( Applicable for X group Trades only) and Dearness Allowance (DA) will be as follow :

(A). Group ‘X’ Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade) : Rs. 33, 100/- Per Month plus Dearness allowance ( as Applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

(B). Group ‘Y’ { Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF(P), IAF (S) and Musician) Trades. : Rs. 29900 /- Per Month plus Dearness allowance ( as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

Indian Air Force Y Group Eligibility Criteria 2019

Group ‘Y’ trades (except Ground Training Instructor, Automobile Technician, Security, Police, and Musician Trades (Age): Applicant’s age should be 17 to 21 Years only.

Group ‘Y’ trades (except Ground Training Instructor, Automobile Technician, Security, Police, and Musician Trades Education Qualification:Need to passed Class 10 + 2 or Equivalent exam in any stream/subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English from an education board / Institute associated in Council of Boards for School Education website as members.

GROUP ‘Y: Med Asst Trade Age: Age Should be only 17- 21 Years only.

GROUP ‘Y: Med Asst Trade Education Qualification: You have to Passed 10+2 / equivalent exam with Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English with a least of 50% marks in aggregate, furthermore 50% marks in English.

GROUP ‘Y’: Musician Trade Age: Applicant’s age is required 17 – 25 Years.

GROUP ‘Y’: Musician Trade Education Qualification:

Applicants should Passed Matriculation or equivalent with least pass marks from any Government recognised School/Boards and also be capable in playing at least 1 of the musical instruments i.e. Saxophone / Trumpet / Bass / Clarinet / Euphonium / Violin / Jazz-Drum / Key Board / Guitar / Sarod / Piccolo / Bass Trombone / Contra Bass (String Bass)/ Viola / Cello .

Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade) and Candidates Group ‘Y’ {Except from Automobile Technician, IAF(S), GTI, IAF (P), and Musician} Trades have to check given medical standard:

Chest: At least 5 cm range of expansion will be required.

Weight: Applicant’s weights rely upon the age & height of the contenders but least weight of the contenders should be 55 Kg for Operations Assistant (ATS) Trade only.

Hearing: Contenders ought to be standard hearing capability. They ought to have the ordinary hearing, for example, ready to hear constrained murmur from a separation of 6 meters by every ear independently.

Dental: Required to be a strong and fine set of teeth and have 14 dental points.

Career Progression and Post Retirement Benefits

Promotion: Promotion Prospects exist up to the rank of Master Warrant Officer ( MWO) Opportunities to become a Commissioned Officer exist for those who qualify the prescribed examination, later during their Service career.

Higher Education: Airmen Shall be permitted to pursue higher educational qualification only after acquiring prescribed skill grade in their trade.
