Indian Air Force Recruitment 2019 – IAF X & Y Group Application Form Apply Online: Indian Air Force has invited the online applications form from (Indian/Nepalese) unmarried male aspirants for selection as Airmen in Group ‘X’ trades (except education instructor trade) as well as group ‘Y’ trades (except Ground Training Instructor, Automobile Technician, Indian Air Force (Security), Indian Air Force (Police), And Indian Air Force Musician Trades). Instruction/ advertisement have been successfully uploaded online successfully. Applicants need to do the online registration by visiting the official website of IAF i.e. https://airmenselection.cdac.in and registered their details after checking the instructions mentioned in the notification. As per information online registration has been commenced from 02nd January and the last date for the same is 21st January 2019. After this period online registration link will be deactivated and you won’t be able to participate in this selection process. Only those candidates shall be entitled to fill and submit online applicants whose registration has been done well before due period. After scrutiny, the received application in this regards board will conduct online exam CBT from 14th March to 17th March 2019 at the selection places. Applicants need to download the hall ticket and check the time and place of the exam and report accordingly. Selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of marks secured by aspirants in the different selection stages. Indian Airforce Recruitment 2019 – Eligibility Criteria 

Indian Air Force Educational Qualification 2019-20

Applicants need to the holder of below provided educational qualifications:

Applicants applying for the Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade):

Applicants must be passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English along with at least 50% marks in aggregate as well as 50% marks in English.

OR

Applicants should be passed 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream.  The aspirants completed the course from Government allied Polytechnic institute along with 50% marks in aggregate as well as 50% marks in English in the diploma or 10th /10+2, in case the English subject is not a subject in Diploma Course.

Group ‘Y’ {Apart from Automobile Technician, IAF(S), GTI, IAF (P), and Musician} Trades:

You should be passed Intermediate or equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects authenticated by State/ Central Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate &  minimum 50% marks in English.

Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Trade Only:

You should have to pass the Intermediate or equivalent exam with Chemistry, Physics, Biology & English along with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English Subject.

Indian Air Force Vacnacy 2019 Age Limit

Aspirants born between 19th January 1999 and 01st January 2003 only be eligible to apply for the notified positions. In case, aspirants successfully qualify entire stages of the Selection Procedure, then the maximum age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.

IAF Recruitment 2019-20 – Application Fee 

Examination fee of Rs.250/- needs to be deposited by the candidate during the online registering for the online examination. The fee can be paid by using Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ Internet Banking via the prominent payment gateway. The fee can also be remit by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch throughout India.

Indian Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2019 Pay Scale

Applicants those will be selected for the applied post shall be entitled to get Rs. 14600/- every month as stipend. Once completed the training period, Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade) will be paid Rs. 33100/- per month and dearness allowance as per norms. Group ‘Y’ {Apart from Automobile Technician, IAF(S), GTI, IAF (P), and Musician} Trades will be paid Rs. 26900/- per month and dearness allowance as per norms

Indian Air Force 2019-20 Recruitment : Mandatory Medical Standards

Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade) and Candidates Group ‘Y’ {Apart from Automobile Technician, IAF(S), GTI, IAF (P), and Musician} Trades need to meet with the below given medical standard:

Height: Minimum acceptable height for recruitment is fixed 152.5 cms.

Indian Air Force Admit Card 2019 For X and Y Group 

Applicants will be provided the admit card on their email id well before 15 days from the date of examination in the month of March 19. Applicants should have to download the provisional admit card and take the color printout of the same and carry it while going to appear in the exam. Candidates can also download the provisional hall ticket from www.airmenselection.cdac.in. Only those applicants will be eligible to get appeared in the exam who will report at the exam center as per allocated date and time along with Admit Card.

Indian Air Force Recruitment Written Exam 2019 – Airmen X and Y Group 

After downloaded the provisional admit card, applicants have to attend the test as per their applied group at the allotted examination centers as per hall ticket. The question paper of this exam will be English and Hindi only except English Subject. The question paper will be based on objective type questions. Candidates those have filled the application for X and Y both posts shall solve both papers in one sitting only. Indian Air Force Airmen X and Y Group Recruitment 2019 – Selection Procedure 

Online Test Phase-I: Syllabus and pattern of the exam are provided below:

Indian Airforce Airmen X and Y Group Exam Syllabus and Pattern 

Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor) question paper shall be comprised of Physics, Mathematics, and English. Level of the examination will be 10+2 CBSE syllabus. Applicants will be awarded only 60 minutes to solve this paper. Candidates Group ‘Y’ {Apart from Automobile Technician, IAF(S), GTI, IAF (P), and Musician} Trades, duration of the online exam for this trade will be only 45 minutes. Questions of this trade shall comprise on English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and General Awareness and Reasoning. If candidates going to attempt both group X and Y then they will get 85 minutes and comprised of Physics, Mathematics, and English. Level of the examination will be 10+2 CBSE syllabus and comprise on English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and General Awareness and Reasoning. For all trade, if applicants make the wrong answer then 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Indian Airforce Airmen X Y Group Result 2019 

The outcome of the applicants for the Stage I test will be uploaded on www.airmenselection.cdac.in. Applicants will be able to download the result after 25 days from the date of the online test. The result will be prepared and uploaded on the basis of performance of the applicants in Stage-I test. Once the result will be prepared, candidates will be informed to check the same via official website only. Applicants can use their roll number to check the outcome easily.

Online Test Stage-II:

Candidates those will pass the Stage I with required marks shall be provided the admit card again for Stage II Test. The hall ticket can be also downloaded from the www.airmenselection.cdac.in by login the CASB web portal.  Candidates need to report at prescribed Airmen Selection Center along with below-given documents:

  • Colour print out of Admit Card for Phase-II.
  • Colour printout of Downloaded application form submitted during the online registration.
  • Eraser, Sharpener, Glue Stick, HB Pencil, Stapler, Blue /Black Pen for writing.
  • 8 copies of un-attested recent passport size color photograph.
  • Original and 4 self-attested copy of 10th board passing exam.
  • Original Matriculation marks sheet with 4 self-attested copies only applicable for 3 years diploma courses holders when English subject is not included in diploma courses.
  • Original 10+2 marks sheet or passing certificates or equivalent marks sheet with 4 self-attested copies.
  • Certificate of SOAFP.

Verification of Eligibility: Selection commission will check the required documents prior to initiating the Phase-II.

Physical Fitness Test: Name of Candidates will be published on the CASB web portal at www.airmenselection.cdac.in, who will qualify the online test. Contenders shall be called to for Physical Fitness Test at the designated Airmen Selection Venue as per intimated date and time. In this test, applicants have to complete 1.6 kilometers run within 6 minutes and 30 seconds only. Applicants have to do 10 Push-ups 20 Squats, 10 Sit-ups within the provided time frame then only they will qualify the PFT.

Adaptability Test-I for (Group X and Y) Trade: After qualifying the Physical Fitness Test, candidates shall be entitled to get appeared in the Adaptability Test-I  which will be objective type written test aiming to review the compatibility (geographic terrain, weather & operational conditions, and deployment in varied) of the applicants for IAF post.

Adaptability Test-II for (Group X and Y) Trade: Entire Aspirants who will pass Adaptability Test-I only be eligible to take Adaptability Test-II as per norms in vogue. Purpose to carry out the Adaptability Test-II is to shortlist the applicants who are able to acclimatize to the surroundings of Indian Air Force IAF and are capable to bend to the military way of life.

Stage-III (Medical Examination):

Candidates who shall clear the Adaptability Test-II for (Group X and Y) Trade will be called to take the Medical Examination round. Applicants will be intimated to download the admit card for Medical Examination round from CASB web portal at www.airmenselection.cdac.in and report at the designated Medical  Boarding Centre (MBC) as per notified date and time frame. Medical Examination will be carried out by the Air Force Medical Team according to IAF Medical Standards.

Indian Air Force X and Y Group Merit List 2019 

Merit list will be prepared only post concluded the whole selection test stages and will be uploaded at website www.airmenselection.cdac.in on 31st October 2019.  Only those applicant’s name shall be mentioned in the merit list whose performance in the exam founded well up to marks subject to qualify the medical examination. Existence the name of the aspirants in the merit list is not surety of selection as the selection of the candidates is strictly in order of merit list subject to clear the medical fitness according to IAF Medical Standards, and availability of vacant seats, and age of the qualified applicants. The validity of the test will be applicable for 6 months only from the date of display of merit list.

How to fill Indian Air Force Airmen X and Y Group Online Application Form 2019-20

Aspirants have to fill the online application for the notified post only after reading the online notification accessible on the official web portal.
